How long before you throw things away?

In the last week I’ve been looking at things I’ve not discarded from last year.

Here’s a picture of a cardboard sowing of Ophrys apifera from Sept 2023. There are 3 large protocorms / seedlings and zoom in to spot a couple of smaller protocorms.

I’ve also just discovered a single protocorm on an agar plate of Neottinia tridentata sown September 2023.
