6 weeks today from sowing onto an agar plate populated with V1/c mycorrhiza fungi. The seed was not sterilised and as a result there is some contamination, but the V1/c is keeping this under control. Rhizoids can be seen forming on a number of the swollen protocorms.
Now this is very promising. The prospect of a fungus that’ll germinate (and grow) orchids from the Orchis mascula / provincialis etc. clan !
